TheWrap identified O’Connell as one of the 10 most probable successors to the National Football League Hall of Famer.
Problem is, O’Connell’s Positive Q Score — an industry accepted measurement of likability — isn’t particularly impressive.
The singer, however, was actually in the running for the permanent gig four years ago, when it went to the ex-New York Giants defensive end instead.
