Tyler Christopher Exits ‘General Hospital’ After 10 Years

Actor hoped to return to ABC soap opera this month

Christopher, who’s played Nikolas Cassadine on the ABC soap for 10 years, will not be returning to the series, a spokesperson for “General Hospital” told TheWrap.

Christopher, who stars in the Brett Eichenberger-directed film “Pretty Broken,” due out next year, took a break from the show earlier this year, with Nick Stabile temporarily stepping into the role.

[...] according to Soap Opera Digest, contract negotiations that would have brought Christopher back this month fell apart in August.

In July, Christopher took to Twitter to say that he wasn’t sure if he would be returning to the series this month, noting, “Nothing official yet.”
