People get born in all kinds of places, but this baby is unique. It was born in the middle of the sea on the rescue boat! Read the story.
His parents Faith and Otis were trying to escape their country and reach Europe and become refuges via the Mediterranean Sea. Faith indeed needed much faith for such a step. She was heavily pregnant at the time and the couple has two other kids (5 and 7 years of age).
They were in the middle of the sea on a rubber dingy and with 200 other refuges, when the woman started having contractions. The whole situation was full of stress. There seem to be no other option than to give birth on that dingy in the middle of nowhere and with no sure hope of salvation or rescue.
God is good and He sends us help when we need it the most. He always has provisions for those, who believe. Ship MS Aquarius came right on time to save them. This vessel belongs to SOS Mediterranee charity and it is privately funded by people from Germany.
At this organization they believe that nobody deserves to get drowned in the sea! So, the ship has found the dingy and saved all the people on it. Faith has delivered her baby on its board and in safety. That day the ship saved over 300 people and has become a real miracle for this family and the baby!
People on the rescue ship were glad and honored to give help in childbirth. They feel it is hard to believe what risks families have to take to escape violence and death in their homelands. It is so good that there are those, who act as good Samaritans and give help to the needy saving their lives!
