Minister sends message to Igbos concerning President Buhari
– Malam Muhammad Musa Bello called on Igbos living in Abuja to work towards peace

Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has urged Igbos not to withdraw their support for President Muhammadu Buhari.
The minister of the Federal Capital territory said this when a delegation of Igbo community in Abuja paid him a visit in his office on Wednesday, September 14.

He said for President Buhari to succeed, he needed the support of all Nigerians irrespective of tribe and ethnicity.
He also urged them to extend the same support to all his appointees in the Federal Capital Territory to enable them deliver quality services to the residents.
Daily Post reports that Bello noted that the history of Abuja would be incomplete without the contribution of Igbo traders.
He promised that he was working to make the Abuja light rail project operational by December 2017.
The minister urged that peaceful coexistent of all persons in Abuja should be maintained.
“We should maintain the tempo of the peace we are enjoying in Abuja.”
The minister also urged them to help security agencies curb crime by reporting suspicious activities.

Eze Ibe Nwosu who led the delegation promised that they would maintain the highest level of peace and cooperation.
He also urged the administrator to develop new markets, in order to decongest the existing ones.
He appealed to the Minister to include the Igbo people resident in Abuja in Board and other political appointments to give them a sense of belonging.
