Hull City vs Arsenal: Prediction, live coverage, team news, head to head, and betting odds – Premier League preview
At the start of the season Hull were near-unanimously written off as relegation fodder but they welcome Arsenal to the KCOM Stadium level on points and out to build on a bright start.
Under caretaker manager Mike Phelan the Tigers have claimed seven from a possible 12 points, with only the goals scored column placing them behind Arsenal in the nascent league table. And Hull have already proven they can go toe-to-toe with the league’s best – holding Manchester United at bay until Marcus Rashford’s late winner.
Though the past week has seen Arsenal pick up three points against Southampton and a crucial draw at Paris St Germain the Gunners have struggled to find fluency. Arsene Wenger does not yet seem to have found his strongest XI, with Granit Xhaka on the bench for the last two matches and Olivier Giroud yet to start.
Both are likely to be added to the starting lineup on Saturday and should be joined by Petr Cech, despite David Ospina’s heroics in the Champions League. Wenger will hope that their additions are enough to secure Arsenal a third straight league win for the first time in 2016.

TEAM NEWS
Phelan could hand a Hull debut to as many four summer signings a debut on Saturday, including striker Dieumerci Mbokani and former Manchester United forward James Weir.
Ryan Mason, the latest former Tottenham player to arrive at the KC, could make his home debut.
Cech is set to return to the Arsenal starting lineup, though Ospina’s excellent performance in the Parc des Princes mean the Colombian is likely to remain Wenger’s cup goalkeeper.
Further forward Xhaka made plain during the international break that he did not join Arsenal to sit on the bench, it seems unlikely that Wenger will name him among the substitutes for a third consecutive game and Francis Coquelin is likely to make way.
Giroud’s cameo in the 1-1 draw with PSG suggests he now has the sharpness to continue among the starters, meaning Alexis Sanchez should return to the wide role in which he has looked much more comfortable. Theo Walcott remains a fitness doubt after pulling out of the Champions League tie with a minor injury.
