NFL WEEK 2: Our picks for who wins this weekend

Wasn't Week 1 great?
Five one-point games, two games decided by missed field goals in the final seconds, one fantastic two-point conversion call, and the rare game in which a late-game clock management blunder actually went the Giants' way.
If you read enough about the NFL you'll inevitably hear the argument that the quality of play in the league is decreasing. Between the injuries, the parity, the penalties — football just isn't what it used to be.
Just last week, Kevin Clark had a really interesting piece in The Ringer that looked at the average age of players in the NFL, which has been steadily decreasing over the past few seasons. Several coaches Clark talked to for the piece cited that as the reason why the qualify of play is also plummeting.
That may be the case, but it's really hard for me to know how we should quantify the "quality" of play in football. Especially when Week 1 was such a treat. Because really, what more can you ask for?
Anyway, I went 9-7 last week. Still working off the early-season rust.

The pick: Jets -1
Tennessee Titans (+6) at Detroit Lions (Sunday at 1:00 p.m)

The pick: Titans +6
Kansas City Chiefs (+2.5) at Houston Texans (Sunday at 1:00 p.m.)
Jamie Squire/GettyAre we supposed to feel good that the Chiefs came back from a 21-point deficit, or are we supposed to feel nervous that they went down 21 points to the Chargers?
The pick: Chiefs +2.5
