Mississippi sets new score levels for A-to-F school grades

(AP) — Mississippi's Board of Education is approving a new scoring levels system for assigning A-to-F grades to schools and school districts.

State officials, though, say that was a misunderstanding and that they instead will award As to as many schools and districts as reach particular scoring levels in the state's rating system.
