Austria: school book recalled over presidential vote chaos
BERLIN (AP) — In the latest fallout from Austria's trouble-plagued presidential election runoff, a publisher says it will take back 2,500 copies of a newly printed school book that listed Alexander Van der Bellen as the country's current president.
Trauner Verlag said Thursday it had waited for the result of the original May 22 runoff vote, in which the left-leaning Van der Bellen narrowly beat the nationalist Freedom Party's Norbert Hofer, before printing the latest edition of "Political Education and Law."
