Furman students sue for right to vote in Greenville County

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A hearing is scheduled for next month on a lawsuit filed by three Furman University students challenging Greenville County's voter registration policies.

Students in other South Carolina counties can list their campus housing as their legal residence on a voter registration form.
