'Eye of Heaven' Telescope May Make 'China World Leader in Search for Aliens'

China has put into operation world's largest filled aperture radio telescope. The independently-designed Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST) is intended for probing remote parts of the universe.
