Australian 'Star Wars' actor Peter Sumner dies at 74

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Peter Sumner, an Australian actor who had a small but memorable part as an officer on the Death Star in "Star Wars," has died at age 74, his agent confirmed Wednesday.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, which first reported his death, he was also the only Australian actor to appear in the film.
