Teacher in sex-with-student case to have nonjury trial

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — A former substitute teacher accused of having sexual contact with a Cedar Rapids student will have a nonjury trial.

On Wednesday the 6th Judicial District announced the trial of 24-year-old Mary Haglin is scheduled to begin Monday morning in the Cedar Rapids courtroom of Judge Kevin McKeever.
