SF State’s ‘Sofa Sin Casa (Couch With No Home)’

S.F. State’s school of theater and dance shows that innovation in Bay Area theater isn’t just happening at our professional playhouses. For “Sofa Sin Casa (Couch With No Home),” Roy Conboy, who directs, has crowdsourced the playwriting; Alandra Hileman, Rebecca Raeta, Nicole Jost, Gabrielle Gomez, Chauncey K. Robinson, Claire Rice and he all contribute to a script that explores San Francisco’s housing crisis, accompanied by a live blues band playing original music.
