Former Binion ranch sells for $1 million near Pahrump

A Las Vegas couple, Ralph and Betty McKnight, finalized the purchase of the 139 acres earlier this month, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal (http://tinyurl.com/jfp5z9c ).

The ranch was built in 1959 and acquired in the 1960s by Binion, the original owner of the Horseshoe Casino in downtown Las Vegas.

Listing agent Norma Jean Opatik of Realty Executives says the asking price for the ranch was dropped to $1.75 million in 2015 and $1.2 million earlier this year.
