A Nigerian boy, aged 9, wants to become an Internet fraudster
A video showing a Nigerian boy, aged 9, named only as Segun has become an instant hit on social media as soon as it emerged online last week.
No wonder why the internet users can’t stop talking about it — the innocent looking child sincerly announces his plans to become an internet scammer locally known as “Yahoo Boys”.

At his Instagram page the young boy wrote: “I am just 9 , I am just trying to find my way out in this recession period! Thanks for following! I love you walaitalai.”
Nigeria has earned a reputation as being at the center of email scammers, and the number 419 refers to the article of the Nigerian Criminal Code (part of Chapter 38: “Obtaining property by false pretenses; Cheating”) dealing with fraud.

The country may have been singled out is the apparently comical, almost ludicrous nature of the promise of West African riches from a Nigerian prince.
In Nigeria, scammers use computers in Internet cafés to send mass emails promising potential victims riches or romance, and to trawl for replies.
