Fulani herdsman’s cows ransack catholic church in Abuja (photos, video)
An unidentified herdsman was spotted grazing his livestock at the premises of a catholic church in Dawaki, Abuja, last week.
The cattle were freely grazing around the area
The cattle were seen ransacking the area for food while their sheperd was just wandering around aimlessly without trying to stop them or redirect them to a proper place.

Surprisinly, but the church that is always packed with worshippers was empty at this time.
It remains unclear whether the church premises were somehow damaged
The Naij.com editors have recieved a photoproof of the story submitted by the local eyewitness Mr Yadiri Isaac, who once again tried to draw the attention of the authorities to the vexed problem of Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria and their cattle destroying the crops of farmers and other properties.

Recall that in in 2014, more than 1,200 people lost their lives, according to the most recent Global Terrorism Index. This made the Fulanis the world’s fourth deadliest militant group, the report said.

After a spate of deadly attacks in Nigeria this year blamed on ethnic Fulani cattle herders, the Nigerian president has ordered a military crackdown on the group and a national grazing bill for Fulani herdsmen was closely considered, the attacks keep erupting here and there.
