Charges expected in killing of Wayne State police officer
DETROIT — Charges could be announced Friday against a suspect being held in the fatal shooting this week of a Wayne State University police officer in Detroit.
Maria Miller, spokeswoman for Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, said in an email Thursday morning that the prosecutor’s office had received a warrant request in connection with the shooting death of Wayne State Officer Collin Rose. Miller later said that charges could be announced Friday with an arraignment to follow, the Detroit Free Press (http://on.freep.com/2gkifNp ) reported.
