As much as Star and Simone try to move forward, they just can’t seem to shake the demons from their pasts. In the last episode of “Star,” viewers saw Simone pull through after a drug overdose, and the girls managed to submit their song in time for the music festival deadline. However, in Season 1, episode 4, titled “Code of Silence” the girls’ attempt to become success may be thwarted by sins of the past.
