2009 vs 2017 inaugural concert: Americans deal Trump heavy blow, SEE what they did (photos)
In 2009, when President Barack Obama was first inaugurated, he held an inaugural concert. The massive concert, We Are One, which held at the Lincoln Memorial was attended by an estimated 400,000 people.
This year, Donald Trump held his inaugural concert Thursday night, January 19. The Make America Great Again inauguration concert which also held at the Lincoln Memorial had a significantly smaller crowd than that of Obama in 2009.
Report has it that it managed to gather an estimated 10,000 attendees compared to Obama’s crowd of 400,000 people during his first inauguration concert.
Compared to Obama’s concert which had artistes like Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, U2, James Taylor, John Legend, Shakira, Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, Jon Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks and Sheryl Crow among others, Trump had lesser-known performers such as 3 Doors Down, the Piano Guys, and Toby Keith.
Below are photos to show the difference.
