Luke Bryan Delivers Classic National Anthem, Tom Brady Sings Along

Luke Bryan has come a long way in terms of our nation’s anthem. Back in 2012, the country superstar caught flak at that year’s Major League Baseball All-Star game — not for being pitchy or putting any particular spin on the song but for apparently scribbling the lyrics on his hand and checking his watch midperformance, gaffes he apologized for by saying he was making sure he did a perfectionist’s-level job. Since then, Bryan has neatly been able to place this incident as a footnote, having distracted the public with other endeavors, including basically dominating country music with a slew of top-level awards.
