George H.W. Bush Resurfaces To Toss Out Super Bowl Coin Following Hospitalization

This year’s Super Bowl began with former President George H.W. Bush and his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush, heading to the middle of the field for the customary coin toss. 

Bush’s appearance at the Super Bowl comes just six days after he left Houston Methodist Hospital following a stint in the intensive care unit for pneumonia. Barbara was also hospitalized as a precaution at the same time.
