Rising cybercrime has made life difficult for Assam Police. Crippled by poor manpower and infrastructure, they are finding it increasingly difficult to crack cases involving sophisticated analysis of digital data. To tackle the situation, however, they have proposed to set up a 'Digital Mobile Lab' in the city on a trial basis.
