Abuja based philanthropist Stanley Uzochukwu pays courtesy visit to Tony Elumelu
For businessman and philanthropist Stanley Uzochukwu, Tony Elumelu would always remain a positive influence in his personal and professional life.

Mr Uzochukwu who is also the CEO of Stanel Group led other members of his staff on a courtesy call to the Chairman United Bank of African (UBA), Transcorp and Heirs Holdings said he was blessed to meet Mr Elumelu at a Maritime Security Retreat held at the Aso Villa, Abuja in 2012 and since then, his words of advice have helped him grow.

Specifically, he said the words that triggered his vision were “Believe in yourself and only entrepreneurship can create opportunities where none seemingly exist” among others.
Congratulating Uzochukwu, Mr Elumelu said: “Stanley, I like your humility. You are humble and I am proud to be your mentor as you have proudly identified with me as my young mentee. You started very young and you have gone this far because you are focused, passionate, disciplined and determined. My advice for you is that you should remain focused, futuristic, determined and above all keep your discipline and integrity.”

Apart from his exploits in the banking industry, Mr Elumelu is the founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation. The Foundation is charged with the mission of driving Africa's economic development by enhancing the competitiveness of the African private sector.
