Lady Gaga announces ‘Joanne’ world tour

Following her spectacular, pyrotechnics-fueled Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 5, Lady Gaga announced details for a major world tour that includes two Northern California dates — AT&T Park in San Francisco on Aug. 13 and the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Aug. 15. Fans in San Francisco have to make a tough decision as the local date overlaps with the third and final day of the Outside Lands festival in Golden Gate Park. Taking the name of her most recent album, “Joanne,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year, the tour will kick off in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Aug. 1, and include stops in cities across North America and Europe before wrapping up in Salt Lake City on Dec. 14. Gaga’s high-wire Super Bowl act on Sunday night saw the singer descending from the top of Houston’s NRG Stadium in a bedazzled leotard to perform her hits “Poker Face,” “Just Dance” and “Bad Romance.”
