11-year-old girl struck, killed by vehicle in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) — An 11-year-old girl has died after being struck by a vehicle in Las Vegas.

KSNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2kSZvtX ) that Las Vegas police say the girl was struck Tuesday in the southeast Las Vegas valley. Investigators say the girl and some of her friends were crossing the street when a dump truck turned right, striking her.

The Clark County Coroner has not identified the name of the deceased.

The incident is still under investigation.___
