Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet in Sochi on May 3. According to Ismail Hakki Pekin, former chief of Turkey’s military intelligence, the meeting will boost Ankara's positions in talks with the US on Syria. Pekin also said that Washington plans to change state borders in the region.
