Germany 'Relieved' by Results of French Presidential Election's 1st Round

The German Foreign Ministry learned about the victory of independent candidate Emmanuel Macron in the first round of French presidential election "with relief," the ministry’s spokesman Martin Schaefer said on Monday at a press briefing.
