First Black ‘Bachelorette’ Slips 10 Percent From Prior Season Premiere

ABC won the final Monday of the traditional TV season in the key 18-49 demographic, thanks to the combination of “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Bachelorette.”

Unfortunately, Rachel Lindsay’s season premiere of the latter slipped 10 percent versus last year in the main demo, and almost 14 percent among total viewers — both were premiere lows for the reality dating competition.

NBC topped primetime in total viewers, with Part 1 of “The Voice” finale.
