Shehu Garba also dismissed suggestion that the government was detaining the recently released 82 rescued Chibok school girls, adding that government has nothing to hide.
He said: "It just took time mobilising the parents and bringing them to Abuja.
“The parents are happy that their kids are being fed, clothed and have possibilities of scholarships. The President has promised these things.
“The parents are okay with the government’s handling of the situation. I know there are people out their calling for them to be released by the government but what do they have to offer them?
“We also don’t want to release them and have them return to Boko Haram."
