How GEJ deceived Igbos because of votes – APC chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia state, Chief Francis Eneh has alleged that former president, Goodluck Jonathan, deceived Igbo people by saying he was their brother, in the run-up to the 2015 presidential election.

Chief Eneh, according to the Daily Post, recalled that in the 2015 election, APC did not do well in the south east and vowed that the situation is going to be totally different in 2019.
“During the last election in the South East, we did our best, it was just that some people who did not know our mission, sabotaged our efforts, carrying unfounded propaganda that former president Goodluck Jonathan was our brother and that made people of the area to dance towards Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“They were deceived; they didn’t know that APC had a better option and a better way of reorganizing the nation more than the PDP," Eneh said.
Spotting the maladministration of the PDP, he said party ruled for 16 years but left the Aba-Owerri Road to Ikot Ekpene in a bad state.
“But I remembered when President Muhammadu Buhari visited Aba during the electioneering; I asked him at Eze Isaac Ikonne’s palace what he would do for the city if he won the election.

“He answered that he was going to fix Federal roads in the city in the second year of his administration and before he could clock two years in office, work had started on those roads.
Eneh said everything went bad in the country because of the bad governance of the PDP.
The party stalwart stated that the APC administration is changing people’s way of life for better adding that that farmers are now making the type of money they’ve never made in this country before.
Meanwhile, a member of the House of Representatives from Adamawa State, Adamu Kamale, who represents Madagali/Michika federal constituency, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
NAIJ.com gathered that his defection was announced in a letter read by the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, on the floor of the house on Tuesday May 23.

Another lawmaker from Benue state, Hassan Anthony, recently announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and that the Speaker of the House of Reps, Yakubu Dogara, overruled an argument by a PDP lawmaker opposing the defection of Hassan Anthony to the APC.
