Trump’s Budget Gets A Poor Reception On Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump’s first budget didn’t exactly get rave reviews, even from Republicans, as word of its cuts spread on Capitol Hill Tuesday.

GOP leaders offered some praise for the plan to cut $3.6 trillion over 10 years, saying it was heading in the right direction, but acknowledged that they will change it.
