Sanders and Schumer say Trump’s budget takes a ‘sledgehammer to the middle class’

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., criticized President Trump’s 2018 budget proposal for cuts to domestic programs. Schumer said, “The Trump budget takes a sledgehammer to the middle class and to working-class Americans.”
