By Stephanie Nebehay and Tom Miles GENEVA (Reuters) - Ethiopia's Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus won the race to be the next head of the World Health Organisation (WHO) on Tuesday, becoming the first African to lead the United Nations agency. The former health minister and foreign minister received more than half the votes in the first round and then won a decisive second-round election, beating Britain's David Nabarro to the job. "It's a victory day for Ethiopia and for Africa," Ethiopia's ambassador to the U.N. in Geneva Negash Kebret Botora told Reuters before Tedros, as he is widely known, was to take the floor at the WHO's annual ministerial assembly.
