Scanty rainfall on Friday, but lake levels rise in Mumbai

Even while Mumbai witnessed hardly any showers on Friday, the stocks in the seven lakes supplying water to Mumbai witnessed a rise. On June 26, the stocks in the seven lakes were 332647 million litres which would suffice the city for the next 88 days.
