BJP candidate most likely to become market panel chief in Chandigarh

Taking an edge in the Chandigarh Market Committee election on Friday, the Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be moving towards the post of chairman, as out of a total of nine posts of director, BJP-supported candidates managed to win six, two were bagged by Congress-supported candidates, and one went to an independent candidate.
