‘Railway escalators give in often’, officials slammed for neglecting ‘world class station’

The escalators at Thane railway station stopped functioning for a few minutes on Friday morning. Regular commuters complained that the machine stopped midway often and repeated plaints to the authorities have fallen on deaf ears.
