Online counselling for admission to IITs, NITs begins

After getting deferred thrice, online counselling for admission to IITs, National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIITs and Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs) started on Wednesday. The counselling began only after CBSE declared JEE ranks for Paper-1 and Paper-2. The ranks could not be declared till June 30 as some of the states' boards had not handed over marks to the CBSE.
