Rescued lioness dies at BBP centre

Her companions will no longer hear her roar. The death of 16-year-old Padmini, a lioness, in the wee hours of Wednesday, left a pall of gloom at the rescue centre of Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP), her home for the last 14 years.
