HC questions tax waiver for exhibition society

A division bench comprising acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice S V Bhatt of the high court on Wednesday sought to know from H Venugopal, the counsel for Telangana regime’s home department, as to under which provisions of law the government derived its power to exempt Rs 68 lakh dues liable to be paid to the state disaster and fire services department by the Exhibition Society of Hyderabad.
