Fear-stricken villagers beat up Army jawan

The rumour-mongering for the past few days in central and north Gujarat of ‘gangs targeting women for rape’ to ‘fierce robbers’ and ‘incidents of brutality on people sleeping outside their huts’, to ‘terrorist attacks’ has yet another case of an innocent getting beaten up by a crowd during night vigil.
