Garbage treatment plant shut for last one month

For the last one year, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has faced the ire of National Green Tribunal (NGT) and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) for its failure to treat all the garbage collected from the city. Now, its garbage treatment plant has been shut for the last one month, resulting in more pollution from Bhandewadi dumping yard.
