Over 15,000 real estate transactions occur in Armenia in May
The number of transactions in May 2015 was 2% less when compared to the month before, it said.
The largest number of real estate transactions was registered in Yerevan – 33.7% of the total number. Vayots Dzor province accounted for the smallest number - 2.7%.
Kotayk region accounted for 11.5% of the total number of transactions, Armavir – for 6.9%, Ararat – for 7.3%, Lori – 9%, Gegharkunik – for 6.3%, Shirak – for 6.2%, Aragatsotn – for 5.9%, Syunik –for 5.4%, and Tavush – for 5.1%.
According to the official data, 25.9% of transactions in May 2015 were alienation of real estate and 12% were initial registration.
Also some 10.7% were inheritance transactions, 8.8% were mortgage transactions, 3.9% were rentals and 38.7% were other real estate deals. –0--
