Truck rentals drop on shrinkage of cargo offerings, cut in diesel price

All round shrinkage of cargo offerings from vegetables, fruits, closing of wheat procurement by the agencies and factory gates during the last four weeks and cut in diesel price by Rs 1.35/ litre on June 15, 2015 results in sharp drop in truck rentals by 3% - 4% on trunk routes, , says an IFTRT monthly report.
