Stand back, Donald Trump may have a few things to say about Ben Carson
'You're a nice man. It's almost a shame what I'm going to have to do to you.'
"Probably. At some point, yes, which I actually look forward to doing," Trump said, adding that at the moment, "I can't do it. He's been so nice to me."That's how Dr. Ben Carson gets you. He reels you in with his quiet niceness, then—BAM. He tells the gunman to shoot you instead of him.
Alright, presuming Donald Trump can shake Donald Trump's lifelong devotion to basic human civility, how would he do it? Have you put any thought into which knife you'd stick in the nice man's back, Mr. Trump? You have? Ah.
"Ben is a doctor. That's what he's been doing. The question is, 'Is he capable of negotiating with China, Russia and Iran?' And there's a lot of things that have to do with capacity and experience," he said.Well, duh. You don't do much negotiating as a brain surgeon. Certainly not like Donald Trump, head of an empire that includes hotels, casinos, and various mass-produced very classy crap with his name on it.
Something to watch for, anyway. I know I'm going out on a limb here, but I get the feeling that if Carson starts doing better in the polls than Donald Trump is, Trump will find the courage to perhaps say a few things about him.
