TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé” just got an extended engagement: the reality series has been renewed for Season 4.
The show has been a nice ratings discovery for the Discovery cable channel. Sunday saw 1.4 million total viewers tune in for the Season 3 premiere. The episode was the show’s highest rated season premiere among women 18-49 and women 18-34, and tied the series premiere in the women 25-54 demographic.
Additionally, Sunday’s episode ranked second in its 10 p.m. ad-supported cable time period among all three of those key female demographics, charting behind only AMC’s season premieres of “The Walking Dead”/”Talking Dead.”
“90 Day Fiancé” follows the journeys of international engaged couples who unite in America under a special U.S. visa, but it comes with a ticking clock: they have three months to get married, or the foreign fiancé will have to leave the country.
This week a new couple is introduced: Kyle, 28 and from New Orleans, Louisiana, and Noon, 25 and from Thailand. Kyle is a typical bachelor living the party scene that is New Orleans, and Noon fears he is constantly being tempted by women while he bartends.
Meanwhile, Nikki arrives in Baltimore and Devar meets Melanie’s son for the first time. Loren is nervous for Alexei (both pictured above) to meet her parents.
