Infographic: Varying degrees

Of every 30 households in India, about three have at least one member educated up to graduation or above. Delhi leads the list with, at least one graduate in 40% of the households. Goa, Uttarakhand and Manipur scored about 25% on this count. A larger presence of graduates was recorded in states with higher per capita incomes, such as Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.
