Telcos may challenge call drop penalty order

Mobile operators may challenge the order of telecom regulator Trai mandating a Re 1 penalty for a dropped call, saying the measure is a “wrong solution” and fails to factor in the difficulties they face in rollout of telecom infrastructure.
