1. Woman farmer Laxmi Lokur to inaugurate Kitturu Utsav

The state government recently had the historic Mysuru Dasara festival inaugurated by progressive farmer Puttannaiah to instil confidence in the agrarian community at a time when many farmers burdened by debt committed suicide. Along the same lines, the Belagavi district administration too will have the Kitturu Utsav inaugurated by progressive farmer Laxmi Lokur. The festival begins on November 23.
