Olive Ridley deaths: Madras HC refuses to ban Gill nets

Madras high court, which has taken suo motu note of a report published in The Times of India on Olive Ridley Turtle deaths caused by fishermen, has refused to order seizure of gill nets and ray nets during September-March period every year, and order inspection of fishermen hamlets to locate such nets.
