Private school teachers can’t ask for salary on level with govt staff: HC

Teachers in private schools cannot demand pay parity with their counterparts employed in government schools, as the relationship between the management and its employees are purely contractual in nature, and that forcing schools to ensure pay parity would have a telling effect on the quality of education, Madras high court has said.
